Dr. Khagendra Thapa Surveying Annual Scholarship

Full-time student enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Preference given to junior or senior level students; preference given to female students with demonstrated commitment to the advancement of women in the field of surveying; must have demonstrated leadership potential and the capacity to contribute significantly to their chosen profession; must have at least an average academic status; sponsored students are not eligible.

This scholarship was available to students before the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative (MCRI), also referred to as Proposal 2, became law on December 22, 2006.

  1. Write a statement describing your qualifications for scholarship consideration including all voluntary, professional, community and campus organizations, and extra-curricular activities of involvement.
  2. Letters of support from instructors outside the Surveying engineering program may be included.
  3. Fill in all of the following qualifications that you meet. This scholarship was available to students before the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative (MCRI), also referred to as Proposal 2, became law on December 22, 2006.
  4. Will you have successfully completed at least 26 credit hours after Spring semester?
