American Society of Professional Estimators Chapter 70 Endowed Scholarship

The American Society of Professional Estimators Chapt. 70 Scholarship was established to support students pursuing a degree in Construction Management in the College of Engineering Technology at Ferris State University.

• Applicants will be an undergraduate student enrolled in the Construction Management Program in the College of Engineering Technology at Ferris State University.

• Applicants will have achieved junior class standing or higher, as determined by total credit hours earned, prior to the semester in which they receive the award.

• Applicants will be enrolled full-time during the semester or aid year in which they receive the award. Students in their final semester of study may are eligible to receive the award with an enrollment status of half-time or greater.

• Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating:

o Financial need as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Consideration for need-based awards requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). AND/OR; o Applicants that demonstrate a cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or greater at the time of application. AND/OR; o Applicants who demonstrate involvement in a registered student organization.

• Recipients that continue to meet the required criteria may reapply to receive the award in subsequent years.
