Call Family Endowed Scholarship

The Call Family Endowed Scholarship was established to support students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Health Professions at Ferris State University.

• Applicants will be an undergraduate student enrolled in a degree-earning program in the College of Health Professions at Ferris State University.

• Applicants will have achieved junior class standing or higher, as determined by overall credits earned, prior to the semester in which they receive the award.

• Applicants will be enrolled full-time during the semester or aid year in which they receive the award. Students in their final semester of study may are eligible to receive the award with an enrollment status of half-time or greater.

• Applicants will demonstrate a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 at the time of application.

• Preference will be given to:

o Applicants that demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Consideration for need-based awards requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). (Among students that demonstrate financial need, academic merit may be reviewed as a secondary consideration.) o Applicants that participate in a registered student organization, professional society, community organization or other extracurricular activities.

• This scholarship is renewable a maximum one (1) time following its initial award, contingent upon availability of funds and the recipient’s satisfactory academic progress.
