Arnold L. and Carolyne D. Johnson Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Arnold L. and Carolyne D. Johnson Scholarship Endowment Fund was established to support
students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Business at Ferris State University.

• Applicants will be an undergraduate student enrolled in a degree-earning program in the College
of Business at Ferris State University.
• Applicants will have achieved sophomore class standing or higher, as determined by total credit
hours earned, prior to the semester in which they receive the award.
• Applicants will be enrolled full-time during the semester or aid year in which they receive the
award. Students in their final semester of study may are eligible to receive the award with an
enrollment status of half-time or greater.
• Applicants will demonstrate a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.30 at the time of
application.
• Applicants will demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Scholarships and
Financial Aid. Consideration for need-based awards requires the completion of a Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Preference will be given to students from Manistee County or Cannon Township in Kent
County.
• Recipients that continue to meet the required criteria may reapply to receive the award in
subsequent years.
